I created a (limit seach 460-467mhz) for temporary use but when in scan it's always there along with the normal channel banks. I can turn on and off the other programmed banks 1-9 but don't know how to get rid of the (limit search). I don't have software and do all programming manually.

which ever bank you have the limit search programed to, go to that bank & hit edit , current , and push F3 for default, then save. that should get rid of the ones you don't want.

Sounds like you programmed the limit search as an object. You will have to find it and delete it or lock it out.

If you setup a dedicated limit search, it will remember the last programmed Hi and Lo frequencies.
