Remtronix for BCD436HP

What is the correct Remtronix SMA Model # antenna for the BCD436HP portable scanner?

I see they have on their site the REM-810S and REM-820S (w/O-Ring). I have also seen other sites listing a REM-800S.

Looking for the best fit, I understand the REM-820S with the O-Ring may be exclusively for the SDS100?

A paper clip works just as well. Try a HD TV antenna. I bought one from Best Buy for less than $20. Works awesome.

The O-ring is specifically for the water resistant sds100, just choose the SMA option of whatever ramtronix antenna you want.

If you were to choose the 842s you will have a small Gap at the base of the antenna where the connector is. You can buy tiny rubber washers at Home Depot to fill in the Gap if you don't like the way it looks.

Again, the SMA version of whatever antenna you want is what's indicated here. On the REM site the 700-900, UHF SMA option is called the 810s and that would be the right fit for the 436.
