Does anyone have any experience with this antenna? I have a Uniden BCD436HP and I been eyeing that antenna vs the Diamond SRH77CA I'm using, I was wondering if the Remtronix was worth the investment.

I can't find any info for that particular antenna, however, the bloates specks is a red flag for me.
Stay with your Diamond.

I have the bnc version of the VU100 and it is pretty much the same design/performance as the Diamond version. I have several brands of this design and they all work really well for vhf-hi band, reasonably well for uhf, and fairly weak on 800mhz.

One of the scanners I bought on eBay came with a REMTronix REM-842B antenna and I was actually surprised at its performance on 800 MHz. But I rarely if ever use it and have never tried other frequencies with it.

I get that, however the area around me, it's mostly UHF, VHF, and minimal 800MHz, except in very very limited deployment.
