Renfrew County - 100 Hectare Bush Fire

A notable new fire occurred on the Canadian Forces Base in Petawawa. Fire Pembroke 25 is currently listed at 100 hectares. It received air attack from five waterbombers from Ontario and Quebec on Thursday. The Canadian Forces are doing most of the fire suppression work on the fire. An Ontario CL-415 waterbomber is assisting on Friday July 20.

I heard a bit of activity on 47.19, most likely an MNR plane, on friday afternoon,
but nothing since. This is from Ottawa, a fair distance. I guess my lowband
vertical is still working.
