Yes I undersand English. I don't have a scanner yet because they are too expensive... Still waiting for a good deal on a used one! For now I use 2 Dongles on my computer with Unitrunker! I'm able to get the Montreal Fire P25 and the RSP Montreal EDACS.

Regarding RENIR, the system sites and frequencies are listed in the database on this site;
but so far activity is largely encrypted, including MTQ. There is no legit/easy way around this.

That said, database doesn't seem to be getting much updating, largely because there
is not much to listen to (that I am aware).

Yeah i know but more services should migrate to the network soon. I tried almost all channels in my region.. Waiting for an update:)

You are probably aware, SQ when (or if?) they move to RENIR, will be 100% encrypted.
The move has been delayed for years and appears bogged down in...whatever.
Which other services will be moving soon?

Just a quick update, i heard on the SQ Conventionnal frequencies test from Bell technical staff... The migration is probably comming up soon

They often have problems with their analog network (built by Bell), so it is normal to hear them make some tests on their frequencies ;)

But at the moment, techs are installing antennas on every SQ office.
It's probably closer than it was, but we still have time to hear them ;)
As mentioned, they will be 100% encrypted on RENIR (like all their Special Units that are already on the network).

My father used to be a Bell tech and I was following him around at work sometimes. Every year he had to go to every tower and do some maintenance/tests to make sure everything is in specs. So it's normal to hear a Bell tech from time to time.

Found a bunch of P25 signals in New Liskeard, Ontario while doing a conventional scan.

The NAC displayed was 14D. I can only guess that this is another zone of the RENIR system.

Hopefully I'll be able to get back up there with a laptop and grab more info.

Yes the system uses a slew of $14x NAC's, as they can be heard into New England regularly
Problem is to now ID which sites, as the channels are listed for Multiple sites.

I can post what I've compiled here, or PM....
