Does anyone know what Hutchinson Fire / Reno County Fire use for their OPS channels? I hear them dispatched on the KSICS talk-group 2368, but then when there are reassigned to an OPS channel I'm getting nothing on KSICS, even when running a system scan. Are they still using VHF/UHF for their operations channels, or possibly a 700/800MHz simplex freq? The database shows four FD Tac Channel talk-groups, but I get nothing on those at all.

2369 is ops 1, 2370 ops 2, 2371 is ops 3, 2372 is ops 4. There are additional tactical channels as well. Those are 2381-2384. They are tac1-4, respectively. I live in Hutchinson, so I can confirm the operation of those talkgroups.

RNSO/Hutch PD also use the ops channels (mainly Ops3 and Ops4) for DUI patrols, but those communications are mostly encrypted, at least from the mobile radios. Dispatch is still in the clear for the most part there.

Thank you very much for the info. I assumed since those OPS TGs were listed under "Sheriff" that they were different from the FD TGs. I have made the necessary changes to my radio. Again, much appreciated.

Fire, EMS, and Law enforcement all have those channels in their radios. When I programmed my scanners, I put them under both categories so I wouldn't miss anything.
