What are the best tower sites to monitor around the Reno area for the Nevade Shared Radio System. If anyone from the Reno area has the best frequencies with LCN order, please provide that info. I've looked on the RR database, the only sites that appears to be good are Verdi and possibly Patrick. Also, if you know, are the TGID's accurate for Reno in the RR database?

The database is correct for the Washoe County EDACS system which functions as the NSRS in the Reno area. Metro Simulcast and Slide Mtn. are what you want to listen to. I travel there frequently.

JoeyC ... thanks for the info and quick response on the above topic. Besides the TGID's listed in the RR database, have you found any additional TGID's that might be useful to enter into the scanner for Reno?

If you really insist you can put in the peavine and Red Peak NSRS towers but about all you are going to hear on NSRS in the Reno area is NDOT and Serria Pacific Power - if you not really interested in these then like Joey said program in the Washoe County EDACS - it is very up to date - also you didn't mention whe you might be up here - The Washoe System is scheduled to undergo rebanding in December but I don't have any frequency info as yet - Joe
