I've been monitoring TG 212 since yesterday. Sounds like PD activity with Troy references.

212 is a patch to TPD1.
Have you been able to ID any of the others you've monitored?
Do you have any details as to the traffic on these channels? I assume these unidentified talkgroups are related to today’s protest in Troy but since I wasn’t monitoring the system today I’d be interested to find out what you heard.
I'm watching a NYSP helo and an unidentified fixed wing aircraft circling continuously over Troy on my Virtual Radar ADS-B setup.

Checkout the planes registration. Silver Creek Aviation Services, thats a fake front company for the government, sources say the DEA/FBI/alphabet agencies, seen them before in the area many times. Often assumed to have "Stingray" cell tower simulation equipment on board. A photo of the plane on Flightaware also shows a high quality gyro stablized long range camera like you'd see on news helicopters

The helicopter is NYSP Greyrider 17 (1H17). The Cesna belongs to the FBI.
Add 155 to the list as another active TG.
I will play back recordings later, 206 was the most active, followed by 236, 131, 1010. The rest were calls or affiliations so it looks but know they are probably active or future use talkgroups.

Heard some activity today on talk group 211 sounds like they were checking in at various locations with Schodack
Identified two new talkgroups today:
214 - Probation Ops
Logged traffic between multiple units, then they said they were switching to “L-Tac”. I then logged encrypted traffic on 227. So I assume that is the channel being referred to as L-Tac.

I’ve been logging a bunch of traffic on TG 211 which is clearly a police dispatch. Not sure what agency it’s for. The addresses they reference are in Nassau and Schodack. Anyone have any guesses who this is for? My guess is Schodack/Nassau but I think I need more transmissions to make a clear determination.
Yesterday I heard some traffic on talkgroup 206 They referenced some areas in north Troy near the boat launch sounded like some kind of surveillance going on. Maybe Troy Police? I also have heard Schodack mentioned on talkgroup 211 sounds like police dispatch.

211 is Schodack Police, Last showed 166.25 active 8/12.
Thanks for the additional information. With what we’ve all gathered, I’m going to add 211 to the database as Schodack PD.
Looks like Rensselaer city police are on talkgroup 232. It matches analog frequency 460.1250 which is the city of Rensselaer police . Been hearing some activity last couple of days.
Just curious. Haven’t had the chance to fire up my other radio. Would love to program this in my G5. Can anyone confirm this TG 232 with details? Be happy to submit the info if confirmed.
From Speigletown north of Troy I can pick them up quite well. Fire up your radio give it a shot ,you should be able to hear them from Glenmont. On another note I have not heard Troy police lately on the Rensselaer system. you can still hear them on the EDACS system. looks like they go back and forth on the county system.

I heard Troy PD on the County System over the weekend. I was looking for programming specifics on the Rennselaer City talkgroup For my G5.
