Does anyone on here know how to get in contact with Radio One here in Atlanta, I see in the database they have multiple repeaters, and our org. is looking into getting on a repeater here in Georgia, unless someone else knows of a repeater in which we could rent air time off of.

Sorry, I should have posted more information. We have just added a division here in Atlanta, Ga. We are based out of Austin, TX. We are a national search and rescue team. What we do in Austin, TX is pay a monthly fee to be on a repeater, not a ham repeater, but a city-wide repeater. We are looking to do the same in the ATL area. We have, XTS5000's and is in the UHF Band.

Thanks

Metro Atlanta is such a large area, not even RadioOne can give you area wide PORTABLE coverage on a single conventional repeater. They also use LTR, and soon to be NXDN digital, so you may have to trade your XTS5000's for LTR radios (like HT1250/1550 LS's) if you want to use their system.
