I have a failed display and clock, followed link posted by UPman. Problem is I am going to travel for some time and have waited for label and now running out of time. Went through the threads and burned my eyes out.

Perhaps one of you knows or have simply returned and skiped the label and send directly to this address ? Thanks.

Don't know of anyone who has bypassed the repair label process, but perhaps someone who did will comment. I would probably wait and see if UPMan replies or contact Uniden directly to see if there is some way to expedite repair.

From the time I signed up for the repair, it took about a week to be e-mailed the instruction letter. The letter included an assigned Reference Number # and two shortcuts, one to printout the shipping label, and the second to check on the status of repair. You might want to call the Repair Dept. (1-800-235-3874 8:00am - 5:00pm CST M-F). They're very helpful.

Hope this helped!

Thanks

For the suggestions. I ran out of time, so I simply sent it. I will hope for the best. We shall see.

Glad you got it fixed...The only thing that I would see is you paid for shipping...That's what the label was for..Uniden paid if you waited... Any other general repairs out of warranty you pay both ways..
