Repeater Interference

The local amateur radio club here relocated their VHF(145.130) repeater
to another tower location and now have interference coming into it.They
are not having any luck pinning down the cause.The interference is a series of bursts that sounds like a buzzing noise.The bursts are 3 to 30 seconds in duration. Even with a PL tone the interference can sometimes
still get through. Does anyone here have any ideas to what it could be?

Could be almosr anything.

Have someone hang a spectrum analyser on the receive antenna port and start searching.
