FB, FB2C are base and repeater transmit (repeater output or mobile radio receive)
MO and FX1 are mobile and control station transmit (repeater input)

OK. got the repeater info in baofeng uv5r, but its not working. got the right pl tone and freq. i used chirp. its showing the + - but it shows in radio that the offset is 00.000. what can i try to fix this? the actual offset is something like 04.2875. i dont have the exact numbers at the moment, but the radio wont let me key the exact offset. if i enter any offset , it clears out after i exit

The "offset" is the difference between the TX freq and the RX frq which if my math is right is 157.5150 minus 150.8600 equals 6.655.

Ed.. thanks and your right on the offset but the radio after pc programming says 0 offset and shft dev is off but the plus minus is on the screen showing theres a sht dev on. i can recieve but not tx. could it just be that im not hitting the repeater? i have another unit programmed identically but no voice comes across from my transmissions. i do hear the company just no tx.

If you name the radio and programming software, maybe someone can jump in and help more.

i finally figured that one out, but it still isnt working. If im not hitting the repeater, will my other radio right beside me still pick up the transmission?? if not i may have had it right all along. If i still dont have it right, about the only other thing it could be is that the pl tones are incorrect... Is that right?

with the pl i was given, the radio is recieving their transmissions, but just not tx ing the repeater.

Thanks for all your advice and pacients with me here.

The PL on the RX might not be the same as the input for some systems [ YMMV ]

See what you get on a Scanner listening to those frequencies

Also, was the Rptr Narrowbanded? Did you set this Radio to Narrowband ? [Due Date was 2012.12.31 @ 2359 hrs]
