I recently am fixing up a 72xlt I got for cheap because it was cosmetically in rough shape. Currently I am trying to replace the battery cover that is missing. So far I have tried to order the replacement part from uniden, and to their credit it is cheap for the part but the shipping to a Canadian address is like $40. I am a university student and have access to "free" printing through the school for smallish things like this.
I am just seeing if anyone happens to have a .stl ( 3d printing file ) of the battery cover already. I have searched on some large 3d printing sites where people do share files and have mostly just found stands for scanners etc. I am okay at modeling basic 3d stuff myself , however I have only found reference photos that show the outside face of the cover and would appericate if someone has this battery cover if they could take side and towards the battery face pictures. attached is the reference photos I have so far .
