I have ordered a new screen does anyone know how to install it or have a Link? Thank you
I take it that you broke your 436 screen? How'd ya do that?

I can't say I've ever seen any posts about replacing the display but I'd imagine it can be done as long as you are very careful with the ribbon cable that feeds the LCD module. That is usually the most fragile part of removing the display in a Uniden.

Shame Uniden doesn't release service manuals or schematics like computer manufacturers do. Guessing they don't encourage DIY'ers, more $$$ for them

Is the screen actually broke... Or just the plastic lens in the front cover...
The screen sits back from that...

I think that part is held in place with a thin double sided tape...
You can try using a hair dryer to heat it up a little and pry it out...

From my link I posted you can see how to open it up...
