I've noticed a new frequency of 151.4825 pl 91.5. I am receiving it full scale from New Bedford. I don't get the main 158.850 at all. The other 2 of 153.890 i get about 3 bars and 154.010 about 3 bars as well. On this new Channel I hear the whole Island. License checks, Traffic Stops and bunch of calls for Service. I also hear the cruiser side of conversations. I hear Oscar cruisers a lot which is Oak Bluffs and Tango for Tisbury. And the other towns as well. I don't get the 153.770 at all but I do get the paging channel on 154.325. I would like to get the apparatus side of conversations but don't think I am able to. I have the 154.0325 in but never hear anything. I was wondering if there was main apparatus uplink for lack of a better term to listen to the truck side of conversations. I also have 151.265 in for EMS as well and get them ok.

Good Find - Just put it in my 15X and its Full Scale.

The Catch last summer was a TAC channel on 155.4375 which was being used for events on the Vinyard.

This seems to be an updated listing of new Frequencies vs the old ones on the RR Dukes county page.

I'm loading everything in and see what used and what's not now.

The 151.4825 100 Watts from Chilmark is a big improvement here in New Bedford. (AKA Flame thrower ) !

So is this a true simulcast with multiple sites covering the island carrying all the PD traffic? Can I eliminate the rest of the 860 frequencies from my radio?

I believe so. I hear constant traffic on this channel. I hear every police call that is dispatched from the sheriffs office. You should be good with just this one. I get this frequency way better than all the other ones. I get this repeater 4 bars from New Bedford. Almost full quieting.

Outstanding! I never understood the old system. Seemed very backwards to me. Now if I could just nail down the individual PD/FD tacs I would be set.

I would hope the Fire departments would go to a strong repeater Frequency. I would love to hear both sides of the conversation other than just the dispatch alert side of it.

Wow readable here ( well, maybe a little white noise ) from here in Southwest Ct. 130 miles as the crow flies from MV. Two different antennas. Diamond discone up 20 feet ( 140 feet above sea level total ) and a 2-meter 7 element yagi the same height. SDS100 and BCD396XT.

This afternoon I heard testing on 156.2175 around 3pm. I was getting DPL of 025 and also an NAC of 01D. The radio techs were doing a lot of 5 counts. Pretty sure it was the Vineyard. I was picking this channel up 4 bars just like the 151.4825. Pretty interesting seeing these new frequencies come online. Wondering if the Island is switching to new repeaters Island wide. Wondering if they are working on the fire side of things also

I haven't heard a channel name mentioned yet. I also hear quite a bit of testing this morning. Still a DPL of 025 and NAC of 01D.

Are you hearing both digital and analog on this frequency?

I've noticed over the past week or so that 151.4825 Repeater hasn't been showing up on my scanner. Maybe the repeater is offline. I am picking up the vineyard on 153.890 still with 4 bars. I still hear a bit of testing on 156.2175
