Reported passing of Al Stern (Satellite Beach, FL)

All, I was just notified that Al Stern passed away yesterday.

edit: I don't think he was active here - but he ran several yahoo groups-based scanning resource pages.


I have no other details on his passing, sorry.

I did not know him well but I had followed him for several years in his several FB Groups like the Military Radio Communications page. I enjoyed his photographs of various Military aircraft taking off from Patrick AFB since he lived very close to the end of the runway. RIP sir you will be missed!

BTW he was a member here but posted very little and had been inactive for several years here.
