I see in the database that TPD Zone 8 is mostly the utilities talk groups. I also see that TPD 8C (30768) & 8H (31600), are listed as North and South respectively. Can anyone confirm that these 2 are used specifically by those divisions or in those regions?

Also TPD 8O (32432) is listed as the SOT in digital, anyone know if they are also encrypted or if they have analog traffic?
(trying to decide if I should have them on my 785, or if I'm just wasting an open spot)

I haven't heard anything on 32432 in a long time. The other 2 I know there is traffic on but if it is side Specific I couldn't say.

Phil,
If you are programming TPD here is how I would have it...

7A-7J leave out 7K, 7L, and 7M because they are Teletype and Records add 7N and 7O.
Add all the 8A-8O because they are used for all kinds of things from TACs to Special Events to training. Hope this helps.

Does Skiatook have an 800 radio for the Tulsa system for mutual aid purposes?

That's a negative. The admin is looking possibly getting a Spectra consolette that the new radio console could control along with our VHF transmitter, then Dispatch would be 800 capable and we could patch the VHF (155.25, 154.325, etc) over to the RMAs, etc.

Well I hope you guys get that new consolette. To answer you question about talkgroups 8C and 8H, yes some of the talk groups in personallity 8 are assigned to specific "specialty units" at the patrol divisions. I would agree with P.J that if you scan 8A through 8O then you should be ok.
