I'm going to have this thread moved to the Kentucky forum where you will likely get better answers. Please be specific about which model - Trunktracker III is not a model number - you have, and what system you are interested in hearing. The Madison co database page shows several in the area. (anything in blue and/or underlined is a link) Be sure to keep this page handy

However there are several ways to get help with the programming. Many scanners now have programs that can download data from the database into the editor, and from there, upload to the scanner. This requires that you have a premium subscription (cheap).

In re the Trunktracker III, there are 4 scanners that fit that category; 2 handhelds (BC250, 296) and 2 base/mobiles (BC785 and 796). These 2 software packages have the capability of handling all 4 of these and also can connect to the database;
ARC250 - available through Scanner master
Proscan -

The other way is to ask someone on the Kentucky forum for a file. Be very specific about what software you are using, if any, as not all file formats are compatible
It sounds like you may not be familiar with trunking. Our wiki has an article on the subject; stick with the overview and the tutorial article for now. This is a very important concept to understand, as this is how public safety systems are being used and administered in lots of places these days...
