Hi Gang,
This question is mainly for the AZ folks to respond to, but anyone who listens to my feed is welcome to chime in.
My feed is listed as the Tempe/Chandler feed, which is a bit misleading ever since Tempe switched over to 700 MHz (and I found out that no, my 796 cannot be firmware updated to track on or even receive those frequencies because it was never type-accepted for 'em - grrr!) and I've tried including some of the digital stuff we have out here but bleah - the 796 and our DTRS just don't want to make friends. Astrak is doing a marvelous job including Tempe on his feed and I've even heard Chandler on there from time to time. To be honest, I listen to his feed more than I do my own scanner.
I'd like to change this feed into a news station ENG frequencies feed. These frequencies can be quite handy when something's going on not to mention entertaining at times, and I can use my trusty ol' 2052 to provide it, allowing me the free use back of that crotchety old 796D.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Other stuff you'd like to hear or not hear? Let me know, and I'll get the change submitted and done.
Thanks,
-AZ
