DSDPlus Request help, possible verbosity issue?

When monitoring a P25 phase 2 system I am unable to see the affiliation/registration requests.

If I use SDRsharp and pump the audio data into a running instance of DSD+ I can see the requests and grants. But, when using FMPA for CC and VC with two airspies I no longer see this info. I see the calls fine, but not the registration or affiliation data.

I am not sure if this is due to a verbosity setting or if this data is not available using the FMPA link to DSD+.

Anyone using FMPA linked to DSD+ seeing the aff/reg information?

Hoping someone can set me straight on this issue. Thanks.

I run two Airspys, in trunked configuration (2 FMPA + 2 DSDPlus). I run -v4 verbosity on my DSDPlus. No issues with registrations. NOTE: You are going to see the reg/affil only inside the CC-DSDPlus copy and not the VC-DSDPlus copy.

OK. Thanks for reply. I set my DSD+ to -v4 and still not seeing the reg/affil data. Just calls and neighbor info. I must have some setting wrong somewhere. I switched over to another instance of DSD+ fed from SDRsharp and saw plenty of reg/affil occurring.

Glad to know that the data should be there. I just have to find out now why I am not seeing it.

Don't put my trust into what I posted. I didn't read your question thoroughly. I posted a screenshot from a PHase I system. I have no Phase II systems to monitor, so I can't say if it's working for me. Sorry to have jumped in before I read your question in its entirety.

Hopefully somebody else will have the answer for you.

I found it !! Posting in the event someone else may encounter same issue some day.

The "B" option of show/hide background events was set to hide. By cycling through the options using the "B" key and setting to show all events fixed my issue. Live and learn.

Now if we could just get those same messages on CON+ systems..
Maybe they don't operate like that, or DSD+ just doesn't decode those CC messages?? IDK
