• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Hi guys,

I'm coming to CT soon, specifically Fairfield county, and I'll be staying in Trumbull.

Does any kind soul have any .mem files for ARC330 (or even ARC396) that I could use that would get me up and running?

Thank you kindly.
Dave, currently in England!

Comming To America! The Movie!

Sorry,its been done already I forget!......LOL

Seriously, Welcome to our neck of the woods! Though I cant help you with the BR 330,(wish I had one), while you are here, I would be more than happy to assist you with the local up to date frequencies for the area. Email me direct and I will give you all the stuff I have. Anything to make your stay more enjoyable,at least from a monitoring standpoint!

Mem Files

My CT UASD files are located in the FILES section of the scanconnecticut yahoo group. I don't use Butel software, sorry.

Well I made it ;)

Just programmed up the Suffolk County (Long Island) PD 800MHz trunk net which is coming in pretty well on just the standard Uniden rubber duck.

That seems to be the most interesting thing to listen to so far ;)
