Hi Oregon Members!

I have a easy request for anyone that uses Pro96Com software with the GRE500/600 & Pro96/2096 scanners.

If anyone can log these sites for "Site Neighbors" "Alternate Control Channels" & "Voice Freq" and other new info!.

Still need site logs for these sites in Oregon State:
Site 119
Site 120
Site 121
Site 122
Site 123
Site 141 - 170.6625 Alternate CC (Not listed on RR DB)(No Site Neighbors per Pro96Com logs) (TKS rcluster)
Site 142
Any other new sites! Like the one in Eugene.

Eugene site: - (New site not listed yet)(No Site Neighbors per Pro96Com logs) (TKS rcluster)
Site 126 - 168.9250 Alternate CC/Data
Site 126 - 168.7625
Site 126 - 171.1875 CC

IWN DB Page:
http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=3509

I started a thread for IWN Site reports in the Federal Forum.
http://www.radioreference.com/forums...d.php?t=113765

Thanks to anyone that can fill in the blank spots on the IWN DB page. :D

P.S.
I was little surprise I didn't find a IWN thread in the Oregon group!

I am in Eugene and can hear a CC on 171.1875. Pro96Com says it is Tower ID 126 (T011A), System ID 715. No adjacent site info is showing up, maybe because my Pro-96 is rounding the freq to 171.1900 (Any way to fix that?). My 396 says the WACN is BEE0A. I don't know if this site is actually in Eugene or not. I have not heard any traffic on it yet.

I can also hear the CC on 172.2375 and it ID's as Tower 141. RR has that as Eagle Point which is quite a ways south of Eugene. Kind of doubt I could hear it clear up here. I can't hear the Roseburg site which is much closer to me.

Hi, Ron,

Don't worry about the rounding up of the frequency. That's what the PRO-96 does in the federal VHF band. It won't hurt reception. A lot of the IWN sites are not advertising neighbor sites, my guess it they just didn't set it up that way.

I have heard from others who believe Site 126 is in Eugene as they can pick t up with no antenna on the radio there. Not sure where physically the site is there.

I am the person who reported 172.2375 and just said it was a faint signal. The site operator logged it as Eagle Point? Here just north of Roseburg 172.2375 (site 141) shows just one bar on my 396t and is stronger if I go north. During the Olympic trials in Eugene it talked a lot on freq 168.9000 encrypted with id 13130. 167.5875 (site 142) is very strong in the north Roseburg area. No traffic heard on it yet. I hear no other signals of this type and I check frequently.

Activity on Site 126

There was some brief, encrypted traffic on site 126 today, TG 13068. A few hits early afternoon and then a couple more, same talkgroup, at about 1630 hours.

As a somewhat educated guess, but based only on the signal levels I see, I would put Site 126 somewhere near Eugene and probably North. So possibly Coburg Ridge or maybe Prairie Peak. I would put Site 141 as also near Eugene but probably South. Probably Bear Mt, which could also be heard faintly in Roseburg.

I have a contact that may be able to give me some more info. Will pass along anything else I find.

I don't pretend to understand it, but Tower 107 here in Seattle has been whispering to me about a new site, Tower 143 lately. Claims it has a control channel on 167.4125.

If 141 and 142 are in Southern Oregon...

?
