Requesting Help -- Home Patrol - Geo Tagging via Radio Reference

We are requesting help from the scanning community and Radio Reference users on helping us get the latitude and longitude mapped out for each municipality, fire district, ambulance service, school district and/or any utilities or businesses. In most cases, the COUNTIES of these states have already had the default location mapped out for them.

Also, talkgroup categories in TRSs (Trunked Radio Systems) will also need to be properly mapped out.

Reminder, this is for municipality or district coverage, NOT for how far the radio system transmission covers.

Need the lat/long in DECIMAL format.
Need a radius from center point that will cover the whole municipality or the district coverage, or for the area that a business or utility serves.

FYI: the maps used in this are done via Google Maps

The admins will process this information through the Submission system located on RadioReference.com

Unlike the example below, please attempt to put the list in alphabetical order. No comma needed between lat & long

is there any particular place we can obtain this info on the net, or did you want someone to try and do it using a gps and verify it like the frequencies?

You don't need the net or anything else. For example, if you want to add Lansing Fire, I pulled up a mapping program and put a dot in the middle of Lansing. Then I roughly estimated a good radius that would cover all of Lansing, with obviously a little overlap into neighboring areas because no city is a circle. Submit that, and you're done!
