Does anyone know how to reset a uniden BCT15X?

Hold/2/9 press those 3 all at the same time while turning the scanner on.

If you want to try FreeScan software, you can clear your scanner that way also. Providing you have the cable to connect from your PC to your scanner.

I tried that suggestion mule1075 posted and swore I'd never do it like that again.

Been doing it like that for years going back a long time before the 15x.Great tip on doing thru the software though.

Thanks for the info guys, but I tried hold/2/9 and it cleared the memory, but it still wont pick up anything. I have another one of them and hooked it back up and it works fine. Something must be wrong with the unit.
