Looks like they got a boost from a Jetstream tail wind (which can reach speeds of over 200 MPH).
So if the plane is going 650 MPH with a 100 MPH tail wind it will be pushed along at 750 MPH, But that's in reference to the ground. The airspeed is still 650 MPH. https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/jet-stream-flights-speed-of-sound/index.html
