Restoring Factory V-Scanner

I have been searching on the internet how to Restore the Factory V-Scanner but can't find anywhere to download the V-Scanner to my Pro-106/197. Can anyone send me a site I can re-download this into my scanners? If I do get this download will it mess up anything I have saved in my scanner and my firmware updates I have done?

The v folders are usually not accurate for some states, but here you are,
Scroll down below where it says product support.
Also your firmware and DSP settings should stay the same as they are when you upload your v folders.

Look here and look for Factory V Folder contents a link that say click here.

It's from the PSR 500 but it will work in the 106 since they are the same scanners.

It has been mentioned here in this thread that the V-folders are out of date for the most part. You should actually compose a new set of V-folders. I have erased many of my originals and have several V-folders that I use for the various scanner listening "Moods" I have, such as, all Federal, all Aviation, etc.

Like everyone is claiming, the V folders are way out of date. I have no idea where they got the frequencies but 98% of them do not exist anymore. At least in my area. You are better off programming the info from this database into a v folder and saving it.
