Resume Scanning Question (BCD436)

Hello,

When you get hung up on a frequency, and hear only noise, due to an
improper setting of the SQ, what's the best and quickest way to get past it and
resume the scanning ? (leaving any re-adj. of the SQ until later)

Turn the volume knob either direction without pushing it down as you would to set the volume. Only works one round though then have to repeat. If you want to lock it out temporarily hit AVOID. When you power cycle it will be back.

You can rotate the multifunction knob on top of the radio clockwise to scan upward. You could also hit avoid to place a temporary avoid on the channel and resume scanning

If you turn the knob clockwise, scanning will resume, but in reverse order.
