Hello everyone,
Got my sds100 a few days ago.Purchased Dmr and Nxdn upgrade.Updated latest firmware..
The first diffuculty is, i couldnt use sds100 on based database or zip codes cause it s only for North American user.Here we have few Dmr public sites,P25 for EMS and some private company nxdn channels.
I ve uploaded all knowing freq.via sentinel as conventional and 1 site nxdn trunk.
Results are;
For P25 P1-2,it s working well ,80% of comms i can listen with supplied antenna.I ve changed with Diamond SR-779,working better on P25.
On Dmr,no issues at all with supplied antenna and with Diamond.
My main problem is decoding nxdn channels.I ve tried to listen as conventional,missed to many conversation.Then,as Nxdn Trunk,missed maybe all of them.On my company,we have nxdn type-c trunking with CC.Even i know all TX and CC freq.correctly and upload it to scanner without any issues,nxdn reception is very bad.Maybe they can fix it with a firmware update.
Sure,supplied antenna is not fixed for all bands.You cann see deference when you changed it.
Thats all for now,waiting to next firmware update to use radio like everbody wants.As a old Trx-1 user,dont want to decrease my expectations.
