Hey Jay (wow its been a while), about that avalanche. Just a few details, I had heard that my foreman from one of the companies I consult for was in the area so I texted him. Got a message back (around 11pm our time) saying that he was there and his nephew (and nephews buddy) dug the guy out of 10' of snow and found him under his sled. They apparently worked him until STARS showed up. From what I know, one guy died for sure. The rest came off the mountain last night.
I won't even get into the arguments for now. My foreman and I talked about it in length last week as he is a sledder and I spend my winters skiing or climbing in the back country. Just sayin.
