Revere MA - 5 alarm fire yesterday

Revere FD (fire department) had a five alarm fire yesterday but 482.025 R ("MetroFire Central") was dead.

Revere does get called on the radio tests that are heard on this channel.

I imagine that 90% of the fireground (FG) communications were on "Metro Fireground North" or "Metro Fireground Central". And the rest was probably on Revere FD Ch1 or Ch 2.

Revere uses Metro Central Fireground as their fireground channel. Covering companies use Revere Channel 1 Dispatch.

The Metro Central repeated frequently is seldom used other than the UASI role-calls, The Revere Tactical repeater is used for admin/detail traffic primarily.

21:51 on the tape - tone - "report of a building fire at 139 Endicott Ave"

22:20 - box 46 - Engine1 Eng5 Eng4 Lad1 Deputy

22:45 - fire detail can see heavy smoke and fire

23:24 - receiving multi 911 calls - fire in the rear - Eng1 has a working fire with smoke showing

23:50 - Eng5 said something

24:12 - working fire response is Eng3, Lad2, Chelsea Lad2 - A3 (private contract ambulance) is responding

25:00 - Eng1 requests 2nd alarm (yelling)

26:50 - Chel Lad2 on freq

27:30 - pager tone set for 2nd alarm

28:25 - Lad1 needs backup on top floor - cant get into 3rd apt - is alone

29:50 - Lad2 is on ?Harvard ? St - can hit with ladder pipe

30:16 - per Deputy Chief "C7" - "all companies, Channel 2, Channel 2"

did not hear the box beeped - dont know if they still do that - sounded like the feed was direct from the dispatchers console - good solid audio

Mass Metro Fire's website has Revere Fire Tactical as 482.2000 (PL 127.5). Don't know if that helps.

I am guessing that Revere FD has - Channel 1 Revere main/primary/dispatch (repeater) - Ch 2 Metro Central FG (not repeater) - Ch 3 - Revere Tactical (repeater) - Ch 4 - ??? - Ch 5 - ??? - Ch 6 - ??? - etc
