There used to be a requirement to 'register' that you have a booster with your carrier (AT&T or whomever). If I recall correctly they had a form on their site somewhere where you could do it. I'm not sure if the requirement still exists or not, and doing so didn't do anything other than tell them you were using it. I'm not sure why it was required but I recall when I got a Wilson/weboost booster once it had a document in there directing me to register it. EDIT: Still a requirement, I guess...
