Installed the new remote head unit for the 996 in my Sport Trac. The base unit is behind the back seat in a storage compartment, all wires are run under door tracks and the RH is mounted with some industrial strength double sided tape. I'm using a remote speaker mounted on the floor behind the center console. I'm using Antennex Phantom's (800 & 450 MHz) on the top of the truck (I'll post them in the next day or two).
Only thing I have to get used to is the radio now being the right side up! I had it on the dash (on a sticky pad) upside down so I could hear the speaker).
