Can we please not clutter the breaking news board with severe weather warnings? We are on a radio enthusiasts website, meaning just about everyone reading this probably has some means of access to a NWS radio or the NWS websites - if you are relying on a BBS for your weather alerts, you have worse things to worry about. Something 'breaking' would be if there is a confirmed tornado on the ground, or the rescue/recovery efforts after severe weather.

Wow, my head hurts... OSP sent that alert because their cars do not have weather radios.

If your intent is to save lives, why don't you post some of the 30 active flash flood warnings in Ohio right now. After all, flash floods kill more people every year than any other severe weather event.

I'm not trying to cut you down here, just trying to keep the board neat. The same issue arises every year in the severe weather forum too.

I think the possibility of a tornado is breaking news so if you want to keep the board "clutter" free then maybe you should keep your opinion to yourself.

Nobody learns about a tornado warning because they stumbled upon it on RR. Everyone in the area who can monitor the situation knows about it. If a tornado hits - I'd call that breaking news. But a large majority of Tornado Warnings (especially from the Ohio offices) do not result in a tornado.
