Am I doing something wrong? I downloaded the new P25 talk groups from RR but the only Richmond county agency I'm getting is Augusta University. I'm getting the SC agencies, Aiken County, North Augusta, but I'm not hearing any other Richmond County talk groups. I'm fairly new to scanning BTW. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I'm having the same problem as well. Downloaded new P25 and can only hear they same ones you mentioned in your post. I noticed they didn't put the site build in the program with Augusta frequencies. Looks like someone didn't finish building the platform to me. I hope they finish adding the other talk-groups. Everything was working fine until they switched over to P25 digital. I really think the load plan is not complete yet. A lot of information is missing from what I see in the new update they pushed out..

Depending on your receiver, set it to receive all talkgroups, not just to pickup what you downloaded. On GRE/Whistler, its a Wildcard setting. I forgot what Uniden was but it's not hard to figure out.

I'm having the same issues as well. I manually programmed my 436 last week with the TG's in this thread and I was hearing about 3-4 TG's consistently. I think I heard business, north and south dispatch, North Augusta and some others. Then, when Uniden updated their list this week, I downloaded those and updated through Sentinel and couldn't hear anything even with scanning.

I finally erased those and manually programmed the TG like I originally did and was able to get some audio, however the traffic is very low so I suspect something is not right. I hear south dispatch but maybe once every 5-10 minutes. Also, lots of audio is cut off.

Download Win500 and use it to download the known Talk Groups that are in the database then manually add those listed with no agency associated with them and start listening. Make sure your scanner is compatible with Win500. If not find a scanner control program listed on this web site and download it. It is much easier to use the program than trying to enter information manually.

Richmond County , Ga BOE and PD

Has anyone been able to copy any new talk groups for the Board of Education ? Also I think the radios in the buses has changed. Conventional frequencies are obsolete. I believe that both the BOE and Richmond Police use the same 800 meg frequencies, just now p25.

Yes the Uniden database hasn't been updated with the new P25 system database. The Uniden BCD436HP still can lock in on all the talk groups if you set it for Discovery mode and set it to save in your favorites. You will have all talk groups in no time. However identifying who the talk group ID's belong to want be known until the database is updated. These are all the Law enforcement talk groups for the Richmond-Augusta area.

55373 Augusta University PD Dispatch*
55201
55206
55218
55220
55237
55265
20895 Augusta North PD Dispatch

All others are Augusta PD as well, not sure which Sheriff department, car to car, etc.

Richmond County Buses

Does anyone have any idea what frequency Richmond County school buses are on now that everyone has moved to P25 ? I've been monitoring the 158.8050 frequency , but have not heard anything. I want to be able to monitor the buses. Thanks

Confirm for RCSD

Anyone have any confirmed TG for RCSD ? It seems that they don't have the same set they had before, as in North and South dispatch.

Go to the database and look under Ga. Then go to Palmetto 25 system and the TG's that have been identified for Richmond County are listed there.

There are some that I am hearing that are not listed. I'll keep looking. Thanks

If there are talkgroups that have been identified but are not listed, then please submit them using the submission button at the top of the Palmetto P25 database page. I will add them promptly.

Some of the TG's I have on Richmond County by wildcard are 55240 , 55245 , 55238 , 55237 , 55239 , 55204 , 55202. Some of these seem to be dispatch and others seem to be either Tac or Event. Compare this to what you have and lets try to get a complete list. Thanks KG4WBB

I will likely be back in the CSRA next week and will definitely be trying to identify some of the TGs that are currently missing
