Haven't listened to the S.O. in a few weeks, decided to listen today and noticed that their call signs have changed. I'm hearing 4 digit calls instead of the usual 3 digit calls and have heard some references to zones as locations in the county. Anyone have any info on the changes?

There was an article in the Chronicle about them switching to zones for their patrols now. I can't remember the specifics but I am sure you could find the article on the Chronicle's website. I don't know anything about the call signs though. Never really paid much attention to the call signs.
