Richmond Scanner Meeting 7-9-05

Central Virginia Radio Enthusiasts will meet
Saturday, July 9, 2005 , 1:00 pm until 4:00pm
in the Meadowdale Branch of the
Chesterfield County Library, located at
4301 Meadowdale Blvd., Richmond Virginia
just off Hopkins Road at Chippenham Parkway.

Our meeting topic will be Business and Professional Radio

I'll have my 396 by then but I only work weekends and wont be able to make it. Is there any way these meetings could be scheduled on a weekday in the evening?

Scanner meeting on week day evenings

We have never tried an evening or night meeting. It seems that in the past each time we shuffled a meeting to accomodate someone we wound up with a much smaller attendance. We have some that drive as much as 60-150 miles which would not work for an evening or night meting.

How about Sunday? Also I would probably be the only one with a 396 so maybe........

Sunday meetings

We once met on Sundays, the Library changed it's policy and it would now cost us $75.00 an hour to use the library. Our biggest problem is available and affordable meeting facilities.
