Hello,

I have a Uniden BCD 436 handheld scanner.

Trying to find a Right-Angle connector that I can put in place of the small antenna that comes
with it so I can mesh with an outdoor antenna's coax.
Want to be able to hold it, and have coax from antenna enter the unit at a right angle.

It's the right angle connector that I can't figure out. It looks like it should be a Male (something)
Might anyone please tell me what I need, or an Amazon P/N ?

Once I get past the 90 degrees, a BNC on the other end would be great.
Or,... ?

Thanks,
Bob

From OP:

Hi,

Thanks for help.

Nope.

It's a threaded fitting in the BCD 436 antenna spigot.

SMA or "F", or... ?

Regards,
Bob

oh I forgot it does come with an SMA style antenna connector. My 436 also included an SMA-BNC adapter (SMA male to BNC female) in the box. Just screw that adapter on the SMA jack and then the right angle BNC you asked about.

To keep strain off the radio connector, use a pigtail cable adapter such as Amazon types B06XR78S3L, B00VPRBYNY, or B06XR9S1TN.
