Riot at the Tulsa Fairgrounds last night..

Anyone catch the radio traffic about the little uprising at the fairgrounds last night? I guess it was pretty tense there for a little while.

I heard one of the deputies say that it was just 1 fight and to cancel other units. But, yes it was pretty tense for a moment. Said they had about 50 teens fighting all over the place.

Must have been a full moon, cause we had a pretty full jail on evenings in Glenpool. Everytime we turned around we were taking one to jail.

We had one that drove to QuikTrip and was on the pay phone barely able to stand. Naturally, he got a trip to jail.

I was doing impound on a truck near 181st South and US 75 when a suburban came within inches of hitting me. I radioed it in (luckily the radio worked that far south) and my partners caught him and he didn't have a drivers license and took the suburban from a relative without thier knowledge. It had '04 tags so it got impounded. It was all I could do not to punch the guy in the face when I met up with him.

Was it Bells or something at the expo??? Bells has got a lot more violent
since they quit hiring deputies for security. I wont take my kids their aat night.
