Hi all, I have 2 question to ask. First I cannot figure out how I can manually put in riscon into my bcd996t. My other question is will my scanner run riscon. I have this scanner for about 10yrs and I had someone program for at that time. I just recently started to use it again and it seems that what was programmed before for the most part is still picking up departments. Unfortunately every computer I own are mac’s and as far as I know and been told none oof the scanner programs are able to run on my Mac. Any advice would be great full.

If you are able to find someone near by to program it for you with a computer I’d highly suggest it. I can program it but I am all the way in CT near Hartford.

You can manually program the scanner. Its pretty easy but a pain when you want to add text tags. If that's too much of a pain send it to scannermaster Scanner Radio Programming Mail-in Service | Scanner Master they will program it for you for a small fee. I think its like $50. If I were you I would just get a pc running on windows.
