Riverdale Fire UHF problem?

I wonder if Riverdale Fire has been having problems.

They did 2 tests with tones today. Not pager tests either.

Full tones, then testing. Haven’t heard this lately, only today.

Any insight guys?

Haven't heard what you've been hearing but today, 4/30/18, I've heard radio repair on the Riverdale Lo-band VHF frequency testing the FD pager tones. Both the tones and the audio sound just fine.

Ok thanks. I’ve programmed in some more low band stuff, including these. I’ll have a listen.

Just heard again.

Accidental tones went out. To add, dispatch couldn’t get through to any of the radios to confirm if it was real or a test.

One of the users keyed up and told dispatch they didn’t hear anything from dispatch(respond, don’t respond).

I as well heard nothing after the tone.

Dispatch was advised to re-tone for confirmation of a test.

They re-toned, and upon re-tone dispatch got through and told all units to disregard tones.

Wondering if their repeater is down, or if dispatch is having problems getting through. Heard appx 00:08 hours.
