ScannerSK, I'm not familiar with P25 stand alone digital channel (no talkgroup) with a NAC of 389. can you explain if I can pick it up down in the valley? Is it on a repeater? Would it be under Conventional or trunking objects? Would the mode be set on NFM or none on the Nac Channels on the Pro-106/197 and one more, is it a car to car?

The rangers talk to each other (radio to radio) on 168.6125 MHz using P25 mode. P25 is a type of transmission that can be used between two radios on a fixed frequency. No repeater or trunking system is required at all.

It would entered as a conventional object with NFM. Sq Mode would be set to P25 and P25 NAC would be set to Search.
