Will there be any online feed available of the events related to the RNC in the Twin Cities?

Can we get a idea of what is on the feed, and how many people it can hold?
Have you considered contacting ScanAmerica? http://www.scanamerica.us/index.php They had amazing hosting for the DNC convention with over 900 listeners. They may be able to help get your feed on their site allowing for much more listeners.

I'm afraid I am being even more dense than usual.
I went to http://hugoscanner.no-ip.info:8000/ and saw the status page. At present it indicates it is up and running and has 32 listeners. How do I make it 33?
I tried clicking on the "listen" tab and on the stream URL http://hugoscanner.no-ip.info:8000/listen.pls
Apparently they link to a .pls application. What is .pls? How do I listen to it? There is no application on my system that knows how to handle .pls

Download Winamp and use that. Should work. Just tested it and it works for me. I believe it should work with media player as well, but i haven't tried that.
From what i see the peak users has been 1, so you shouldn't have any problem getting a spot.

Thanks Matt. Sounds like the heavy-handed Feds are at it again -- grrr
That's too bad that you can't have it going for people to hear. There has been lots of action since about 5:00.
Well there were some "issues" and we'll just leave it at that. My regular feed will be back up at the same address in a day or two.
