Well I am planning on driving over to LA to visit some family next month. I am looking for what systems or freq's I should program in the ol scanner. I have most the trunking stuff already in it but not sure what to listen to around the I-10 portion of the drive. Any help or suggestions would be a great help

Since FHP is out of the question, for conventional counties (since you've already got the trunked systems covered), program in just the main SO/FR dispatch freqs so you won't miss anything interstate crash-related.
