that is what I currently have it sd trunker running right now. with phase 1 p25 decoding. I don't have to have the other frequencies monitered with that do I?

All you should need is the active control channel. You also don't need SDR#, SDRTrunk will use your dongle directly. I'm not overly familiar with SDRTrunk (I've never been able to get it working right on any of my computers) but I know you have to create a channel in it set to the control channel frequency with your dongle as the receiver, as far as how to follow the voice traffic using only one receiver I don't know: supposedly it is possible but like I said I've never been able to get it working right.
