I only have the ability to listen on my computer or phone, I do own a scanner, but an older radio shack one which I've given up on. I feel that I'm missing a lot of what's going on. I get a lot of dead air and a lot of static at times. I listen on Broadcastify and Gordon Edwards Scanner Radio Pro app on my phone. Everyone here seem like experts...Can you offer some advice?
