Rockaway FD/Morris County

I've been monitoring Morris County's trunked system on a BCD796D and have listened to
Rockaway FD on 34416 (MUN FD 1) in the past. I recently did a firmware update on the radio
and now all I hear is the machine gun sound whenever there is a transmission on that
group. Tried to adjust the APCO25 sound quality whenever it's locked on the transmission
but the radio won't adjust. Is there anyone else monitoring them who can tell me nothing
has changed as far as their talkgroup/type of signal?

It sounds like you might not be in trunk mode. That sound you hear is the control channel. Double check your settings. I think you are listening to the TRS in conventional mode. For some reason the scanner isn't "locking in" on the control channel.

Nothing has changed. County TRS coming in loud and clear on my BC796D.

Looked at my programming; nothings changed there. I'll take this query over to the
Uniden board. Maybe someone there has an answer. If not I'll try to go back to
previous firmware.
