Any one know what freq. the Rockfish Gap fire dept. uses?

Welcome to RR and the VA forum. This is a very good group on here.
Rockfish is on the Nelson County system, 155.865 for primary and dispatch. Rescue is the same. Sometimes during a big event they will also use the Local Gov channel; 155.760.
At least some of their units have Albemarle radios, and I believe Crozet Station 5 has some Nelson County VHF radios.
So which station are you with?

That's what I thought they ran off of. I use to be a runner with station 8 (Seminole Trail) just to help out on calls to see if I liked doing it. But my full time job wouldn't work with me so I had no choice but to stop. But will be heading back to school soon to study for my EMT-P/CCEMT-P stuff so a good 4 yrs worth the studies. But will be worth it.
