Police on scene of fatal shooting in Rockford - Rockford, IL - Rockford Register Star

ROCKFORD — Police are on the scene of a fatal shooting tonight in the 3800 block of Sage Drive, just inside the city limits near East Riverside Boulevard.

The shooting was reported about 8:15 p.m.

By 8:45 p.m., police had made an arrest on East Riverside near the Shell station.

No further information is available.

There were several shots fired calls on the West side early this morning around 2 am, of course, I believe it was around the Avon St. area. I do not know what came out of it.
