Rockingham (city) Fire

Anyone know how to monitor City of Rockingham Fire? Dispatch is heard on their analog channel but can't receive unit transmissions.

Have you tried VIPER? I see they have talkgroups on there, but I have no idea how much, or if they are used. I'm Just a bit too far north to try myself. North Carolina VIPER Trunking System, Varies, Multi-State - Scanner Frequencies

I'm monitoring all talk groups listed, even tried discovery when I know they should be talking. I can't find it.

They've got 465.6125 listed as a mobile 5 watt simplex frequency under their license. Perhaps that's what they are using for operations. You'll have to be fairly close to hear it if that's the case. The other 2 frequencies on that license are 453.875, which is listed here in the database as 'Fire Dispatch' and 458.875 which I'm sure is the input. Rockingham Fire has switched to DMR. The initial page for station alerting is in analog, and I believe simulcasted on the County Fire Ops 1, but the rest of the unit traffic happens on the same frequency in DMR.

Thanks for the responses! I can add DMR to my BCD436, but it's $60.00 so i'll have to think on that!
