I saw a listing of a Temporary DMR Trunked system near Pryor at a big Rock festival: Rocklahoma - which starts tonight. 20+ bands I've never heard of...
So I boogied down there today from Joplin on a radio field trip (it's nice to be retired).
Yup, there is a very busy CAP system just for the festival - the WRNV418 license showed 5 freqs, and there are 3 more in the system.
DMR Slots 1 & 2, all on CC 13, and I heard 13 TGs, but based on skipped numbers there are probably a dozen more - TG 18-40 plus!
Lots so"setting up" stuff, audio checks etc. Don't want to go back later, as it already was fairly congested people/car-wise.
A submission to the database for a one weekend event is probably not a good idea, especially since the Trunked system is a rental that will likely change next year (the system is rental from one of the big rental firms) is not likely.
